Hand Drawn Personalised Cat Mug Rescue Cat GiftHi, it's Veronika!
I bet you want to skip the intro and get to the best gifts. Gifts for no ordinary cat lovers but rescue cat lovers. Gotcha.

But as always, I have a little bit of a story to share - so I hope you'll enjoy finding out more about my artwork and rescue cat themed creations. Please sit back, relax and read further:

Btw - did you read my Honest Language Disclaimer yet? (No, it's not about profanity =)

Hi, it's Veronika here!

It's been a long long time =) I'm so busy to get my shop going and raise more money for the animal sanctuary (read more here) - as you can see, more is happening there than here - check my newest designs - all three on this page - just finished them yesterday! (Yes, they're mockups, not real photoshoots of the actual designs as the printing cannot happen overnight =)
And that's why I have no time (or is it energy?) to think of topics I'd write about (I rather turn my thought into designs). But something crossed my mind today I wanted to dive into a bit in an article.

Oh, btw, in case you haven't done this yet, please read my Honest Language Disclaimer (no, it's not about profanity) - cheers!

So what is it I'm going to talk about today? The various terms used for those who incline to vegan lifestyle and diet and HOW I UNDERSTAND IT. Really, I'm no dictionary, surely not an English one whilst it's not even my native language =) so this is just my opinion on the matter. So nobody takes an offence and nobody takes a full %&$!#-blast on me after reading this, ok? =) I know these things get people heated sometimes (or better to say - almost all the time).

Hi, it's Veronika here, today with rustic home decor that will bring memories of the good old days. Well, at least it brings it to me when I look at Nancy's handmade textile flowers =)
Nancy runs MumMumsPetals on Etsy and she would like to tell you more about her shop and work.

Nancy?

"After my mom passed away a year ago, I just needed an outlet of sorts, something therapeutic to put my mind to. I came across some burlap and felt flower tutorials and decided to give it a try. Eventually hubby encouraged me to expand this growing hobby, so I looked into ways to market my new creations.
In October [2018] I opened an Etsy shop which has given me a platform to share these beautiful flowers with the world. They can be used for DIY projects and as home or personal accessories. I’ve also created several different products to showcase the flowers for my Etsy shop: wreaths, picture frames, string art, ornaments, banners and stencilled wall plaques. Many more ideas are brewing in my brain! This venture fulfils my need to create, and my prayer is that my creations bless all who come in contact with them."

Hi, it's Veronika here and I'm a bit behind, as usual, with my article =)

Spring is here for sure, as it's past my birthday (I'm Aries) now and so it's really the time to do some spring hunt on Etsy and highlight Easter decorations and picks that are both handmade and vegan-friendly.

So many products around spring and Easter are baby-themed, especially when it comes to farm animal babies. So let's not be hypocrites and think about lambs as babies, not your dinner, chickens as beautiful (and pretty clever!) birds, not machines for eggs and rabbits as companions, not a cute Easter gifts that will be left in a cage for the rest of their fairly long life (one of those matters are reflected in my free greeting cards for vegans - find out more and get them here).

Think differently and be kind this spring. Keep it green and vegan like I do =)

Now, let's browse my spring Etsy picks and enjoy!

Hi, it's Veronika here and I'm bringing to you today something that caught my eye a while ago and I just couldn't find time to write about it any earlier! So without any much longer delays, please enjoy amazingly looking knits such as dragon scale rainbow mittens and many more, "made by one of the strongest arms in the world" - no kidding, meet Sigita who runs CraftyMarmara shop on Etsy and who is an amazing arm wrestler!

Let's learn more about Sigita and her work!

Hi. My name is Sigita. I am Latvian living in Turkey. I am a Turkish national team athlete and a crazy knitter. I can't imagine my life without knitting and crocheting!
I have been knitting/crocheting since I was a teenager.
As a beginner, I never thought about or paid attention to what kind of yarn I was using. I had categories for yarn as pretty - ugly - thick - thin ? that's all!
Only after many years when I started to get better at what I do and wanted to take it to the next level - sell my crafts.
I joined online knitting groups, and only then I realized that I was using the "wrong" ? yarn all along!!!
According to most knitters, I was wasting my time if I was not using wool yarn. They were pitying me for all that effort and time spent for nothing. As long as it wasn't a high percentage in wool it wasn't good.
At that time I was shocked and confused because I already knew that many people like and appreciate my work...

Hi, it's Veronika, your vegan friend and content creator of Veronika Honestly (no, not my surname).
I'm mathemagician (making money as maths tutor! ?), a bit of an artist (well, trying to get back to art) and also animal and adventure lover.
Get to know me on my About page and make sure you sign up for my newsletter to get my free printable greeting cards for vegans I made for everyone to use and spread the vegan word!

See you around and on my social media - stay in touch!

Thank you for reading this whole article =) I have a few things to mention here:

Firstly, if not already mentioned in the article, I would like you to know about my Honest Language Disclaimer (no, it's not about profanity) - in case you were wondering why my English is so weird and not Oxford-dictionary perfect (whose English is, anyway...)

Secondly, my post may contain affiliate links. Namely Etsy and Amazon links. If you click through and buy anything there, I will get a small commission, so you are basically helping me to reach the goals, to raise funds for animals sanctuaries. All of that at no extra cost to you or the seller. It's a win-win =)

Now, in the end, I have a tiny request: If you liked this post, could you please share this?
Sharing helps to keep my costs down so more can go towards animal charities and perhaps you'll make one's day by showing them something from this blog they will like to read! A share from you would seriously help a lot with the growth of this blog that focuses on spreading the vegan word and kindness - just the things you also care about =)

You may like to pin some graphics from here, you may want to share it to your blog (do you have a vegan-themed blog? Let me know, let's collaborate!) or to your favourite Facebook group... there are plenty of choices!

Thank you for your support!

And... what now?

If you read all of the above, then, by all means, you're awesome for reading it all! And I believe you are interested at least a bit in my work here - I'd say we may have a thing or two in common! =)

Let's stay connected - sign up for my newsletter and don't miss any big and interesting news from me, tips and ideas on how to get on with your vegan journey as well as how to spread the vegan awareness (I do it the friendly way).
